One of our most recent healthcare fit out projects has been the installation of a modular building at Norwich NHS to provide the Trust with additional single onsite training facility. 

This project has been extremely rewarding and exciting as the timescales were extremely tight to achieve – having just 4 weeks to design a substantial foundation, pour reinforced concrete and crane lift the building onto its final resting position. 

As usual, we rose to the challenge and a 120-tonne crane was used for a 48 Hour period to lift 12 prefabricated modules to create the training facility. 

Not only was the construction of the building a huge success, but the internal configuration of the building was completely stripped out and then fitted out with LED lighting, non-slip safety flooring, storerooms for training equipment, breakout space, 4 large classrooms with a capacity of 120 people and state of the art audio visual equipment.

All of these facilities would make sure that the nurses and staff who passed through the centre would have the best environment to learn in. It is a safe environment that takes into account healthcare compliance laws and has all of the necessary features to make training run as smoothly as possible so that the NHS can continue providing essential support to the people of Norwich.
